Bode Clinic

Today is #stressawarenessday 💆🏽‍♀️ and while some symptoms of stress can be relieved with a good night sleep or a hot bubble bath, sometimes there can be more to it 🛀🏻

Physical symptoms of stress can include headaches, painful and tense muscles, a sore back and low energy. A lot of the physical pains that come as a result of being stressed out can be relieved through physiotherapy.

Luckily, we offer free consultations so you can pop in and see if we can help get you pain free without booking in for a full session. 🙌🏻

Book in today or give us a call on 07368 311449 for more info!

🏃🏾‍♂️OSGOOD-SCHLATTER DISEASE🏃🏽‍♀️

Teenagers moaning about their knees after football? They might be suffering from OSD.

Or as we call it “tibial tubercle apophysitis”, OSD is a form of knee pain commonly found in growing children. Children who participate in running and jumping sports are at an increased risk for this condition. However, less active adolescents may also experience this problem.

Symptoms include - pain and swelling. Pain typically increase during exercise and decreases with rest (so we recommend resting)

The knee pain almost always stops once the patient is finished growing, but in the meantime, treatment options include resting, soft tissue massage, stretches, icing and various taking techniques. All of which we can help with at Bode Clinic.

Dm us or give us a call on 07368311449 ☎️ to book in - we do free consultations!
