Kristin has several years experience working in private practice treating patients from any age group, different backgrounds and abilities. Her passion for sport has attracted a range of amateur and professional athletes to seek injury help and advice from Kristin to progress as an athlete and achieve their goals. Kristin worked with Manchester United Foundation for 7 seasons leading the physiotherapy service for the girls Regional Talent Club (RTC) and helped build a high level medical service ensuring players receive top quality care to develop as an athlete.
Kristin has been assisting a previous work colleague with their Phd, studying assessment, screening and training methods in female footballers across the UK aimed at injury prevention and performance enhancement. This sparked the interest for research and the benefit of using statistical measurements to ensure the patent is reaching their goals and receiving the latest evidence based treatment techniques.
Although Kristin’s passion is with sports physiotherapy she has over the years gained a vast amount of experience working with everyday back and neck problems, road traffic accident cases, joint and muscle conditions, and her efficient hands on treatment techniques has helped patients recover rapidly from their aches and pains.
Other skills include Kinesiology taping, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilisations, sports massage, acupuncture, and exercise advice.
